Expérience

For the past 20 years, I have served North Florida as a mental health counselor. My Master’s Degree is from Florida State University and I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida. As a decorated military veteran, I have experience helping veterans’ transition through the healing process with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury. My experience has been serving geriatric populations, veterans, child protection, homeless shelters, mental health facilities, acute care hospitals, home health, schools, and with a local church. The focus of my practice is to offer compassionate and personalized care based on individual needs. While my most important practice values involve tailoring services to meet your individual needs; some of my most commonly used practice values include cognitive behavioral style, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based perspectives.
